Chef – Breakfast & Evening – Home Hotel Aurora, Tromsø

Home Hotel Aurora in Tromsø is looking for a chef for a part-time position, equivalent to 60%. This is a varied role for someone who enjoys different types of kitchen shifts. Some days you will work breakfast shifts, while other days you will work evening shifts. Availability for both types of shifts is important, and the position includes weekend work.

About the position

• Permanent part-time position
• You will be part of the kitchen team and work across both breakfast and evening operations. Depending on the shift, your responsibilities will include breakfast preparation and service, food preparation, evening service, cleaning and maintaining good food safety and kitchen routines.

• Typical working hours are:

  Breakfast: 06:00–14:00
  Evening: 13:00–21:00

• The schedule will include both weekdays and weekends.

We are looking for someone who

• Has previous experience working in a professional kitchen.
• Is flexible and able to work both early breakfast shifts and evening shifts.
• Is available to work daytime, evenings and weekends.
• Enjoys a varied working day and can adapt to different kitchen responsibilities.
• Works efficiently, stays organised and takes responsibility for their tasks.
• Is reliable, positive and enjoys being part of a team.
• Has a valid Norwegian residence permit, or is an EU-citizen
