Full-Time Evening Chef – Home Hotel Aurora, Tromsø

Are you a chef who enjoys working in a busy kitchen and creating great experiences for guests?

Home Hotel Aurora in Tromsø is looking for a full-time Evening Chef to join our kitchen team in a permanent position.

This role is focused entirely on evening service, with regular working hours from 13:00–21:00. The position is full-time, and includes both weekday and weekend shifts. We are looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, takes responsibility and stays organised when things get busy. Previous professional kitchen experience is important, and you should be comfortable working independently when required.

The position

Your main responsibility will be preparing and serving food during the afternoon and evening. You will also contribute to preparation, cleaning, food safety routines and keeping the kitchen organised. Working hours are primarily 13:00–21:00, including weekends.

We are looking for someone who

• Has previous experience working as a chef in a professional kitchen.
• Enjoys working evenings and is available to work weekends.
• Works efficiently and maintains good quality even during busy periods.
• Is reliable, positive and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
• Takes pride in keeping the kitchen clean, organised and well prepared.
• Has a valid Norwegian residence permit, or EU citizenship
